I paint and write from my apartment in a house that once belonged to a robber baron in Philadelphia, PA.

Hybrid essays are the form I most frequent. They allow me to push into language as material, covering everything from plants and fungi to Anarchism and the pleasure of paint.

I recently graduated from the School of Visual Arts with an MFA in Art Writing where I recieved the Paula Rhodes award for exceptional contribution in the discipline of art writing.
